Who Should ParticipateOrganization leadership

About the Presenter: Amy Wishnick,

Amy Wishnick is passionate about organizations. With skill, sensitivity, and good humor, Amy works with a wide range of organizations to enhance their management, leadership, and adaptive capacities to be more effective. Since founding Wishnick & Associates in 2004, she has worked with over 75 nonprofits locally and nationally on strategic planning (29 engagements), board development and governance, organizational and other assessments, organizational development, executive transition advising and search management, and more. She also advises and coaches nonprofit executives and board chairs.

Amy collaborates with clients as a trusted advisor, partner, and resource, bringing a breadth of experience to all her engagements and deep knowledge of nonprofit organizations. She is known for embracing a client’s mission, vision, core values, and goals and working with leadership to ensure the organization thrives. As Wishnick & Associates’ clients embrace equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, so does Amy. Ever mindful of bias and structural racism, she is authentic and open with clients and in all engagements.

As a volunteer, she has served as an officer of and chaired numerous nonprofit boards and committees. She is a member and past president of the Association of Consultants to Nonprofits, an advisor member of Forefront (formerly Donors Forum). She serves on the selection committee for the annual Alford-Axelson Awards for Managerial Excellence. Amy previously taught strategic planning at Axelson’s BootCamp for New Nonprofit CEOs.
