About This Session: When faced with the pressing challenges of managing a nonprofit’s board of directors, auxiliary boards can often be overlooked as a powerful opportunity to contribute to and strengthen your organization. But auxiliary boards (advisory groups, junior boards, young professionals boards, etc.) can be a strong group of organizational champions and supporters—contributing to resource development and awareness and providing strategic direction and a leadership pipeline for the organization. This workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of forming, structuring, and enhancing auxiliary boards for nonprofit organizations. Come prepared to develop a plan for building or enhancing an auxiliary board for your organization through interactive learning and the examination of real life case examples.

Audience: Anyone Interested in Creating an Auxiliary Board
